CERTIFIED TRANSLATION

Certified translation is a translation that can be executed only by a certified translator who is authorized by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic pursuant to Act No. 382/2004 Coll. on Experts, Interpreters and Translators as amended in later regulations and who is listed in the Registry of Experts, Interpreters and Translators administered by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic.

The charge 19,92 €/standard page for certified translations is set by the Regulation of the Slovak Ministry of Justice No. 491/2004 on Fees, Compensations, Costs and Expenses and Lost Time Compensation for Experts, Interpreters and Translators. One standard page contains 1,800 characters.

In case of an express translation (within 24 hours) the charge is increased by 50%. When the translation challenges accuracy and professionalism the charge is increased by 30%.

In case standard translation is needed the charge is set to 50% of the charge of certified translation (i.e. 9,96 €/standard page). Upon agreement lower charge is possible (in case of longer or undemanding translation).
